You will find a lot of typical restaurant which offers you excellent and varied specialities like the delicious "Fromage de chèvre", "Rillettes et Rillons" made in the traditional manner using a cord,  "Andouillettes", "Poires tapées" or dried pears a surprising local specialty from the Rivarennes village, "Nougat de Tours" and  "les Fouaces" very appreciated by Rabelais.
